SSB Head Constable Selection Process 2026
SSB Head Constable recruitment 2026 goes through 4 stages to complete its selection process. These stages check the candidate’s physical efficiency for the post, knowledge in various subjects, computer proficiency, and medical fitness for the post. SSB Head Constable selection process is given below:
- Physical Tests: This stage includes Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Physical Standard Test (PST). Both of these tests are conducted in SSB locations. In PET, candidates’ physical endurance is checked through running for a specific time. In PST, the candidate’s height and chest measurement are done, which vary with posts.
- Written Examination: Candidates who qualify for the physical tests become eligible to sit for the CBT of 150 MCQs of 4 subjects. To proceed to the next stage, candidates must score a minimum qualifying mark in the CBT.
